Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Fund for Nature

Maximum grant- £5,000

The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Fund for Nature, backed by a grant from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, is overseen by Natural Cambridgeshire and the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.

Fund Aims:

Boost biodiversity and vital wildlife habitats.

Strengthen community bonds through greater natural space awareness and enjoyment.

Enhance public health and well-being.

Foster resilience in rural areas and communities with a nature-centric approach to climate change.

Promote sustainable green space development and management best practices.

 

Anglian Water Flourishing Environment Fund

1st August Deadline

Maximum grant- £10,000

Anglian Water safeguards regional species and habitats. They've initiated the Anglian Water Flourishing Environment Fund, offering grants of £2,000 to £10,000. The fund supports vital wetland conservation within their regions, focusing on principal habitats and species. Eligible projects must occur in Anglian Water and Hartlepool Water Regions, including coastal areas.

The fund supports:

Land purchase

Habitat restoration

Species conservation

Interpretation (as part of broader projects)

Materials and equipment

Reasonable travel expenses

The fund does not support:

 

Surveys (except when necessary for legal compliance)

Interpretation-only projects

Legal and planning fees.

 

Burnthouse Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund

1st August Deadline, 1st February Deadline

Maximum grant- £6,000

Grants for local projects are available in select parishes near Burnthouse Wind Farm. Eligible projects must benefit a significant portion of the local community within a 5km radius from the wind farm. Parishes include Benwick, Coates, Doddington, Eastrea, March, Turves, Wimblington, and Whittlesey.

 

Gs Community Fund

1st August Deadline, 1st November Deadline

Maximum grant- £3,000

Grants of £2,000 to £3,000 for East Cambs and Fenland groups involved in youth development related to horticulture/food. Funding may also cover local heritage and the natural environment if resources permit.

 

Healthy Fenland Fund

1st August Deadline, 1st February Deadline

Maximum grant- £5,000

The Healthy Fenland Fund invites applications from local groups in Fenland working to improve people's health and well-being.

Marshall Community Fund

1st May Deadline, 1st November Deadline

Maximum grant- £3,000

Grants up to £3,000 to support small, local voluntary and community groups in Cambridgeshire.
