Poor Air Quality in March Town High Street

 

 

Between 17 January 2017 at 07:00 and 31 January 2017 at 07:00 an air quality monitor kit provided by Friends of the Earth> was installed on High Street, March.

The monitoring measurers nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in microgrammes per cubic metre (µg/m3).

The European Union has a legal limit for NO2 at 40µg/m3 (micrograms per cubic metre) average annually.

Both short and long term and long term exposure to NO2 can have significant negative health effects.
