Due to significant growth in the Green party the Peterborough and Fenland Green Party have split to form two separate local parties.
During the run up to the the 2015 General Election 50,000 people signed up to become members of the Green Party of England and Wales, this has been referred to as the Green Surge. Some of those people were in the Peterborough and Fenland area of Cambridgeshire.
The numbers of active members in that local party have allowed us to split into two seperate parties but we will still work closely together along with the East Cambs Green Party to campaign for local change.
